In a statement, she said: ‘I am deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific incident that took place on Harbour Road, Skerries, yesterday evening. ‘There is absolutely no place for this kind of violence in our community. ‘My thoughts are with her, the others injured, and all of their families. Thankfully, she is now home from the hospital. I wish each of them a full and speedy recovery.’ Ms Clifford-Lee said ‘tensions have been building’ in the area following ‘a significant increase in the number of young people’ visiting Skerries.
