Cut the plums again and arrange with rocket and basil leaves plus torn burrata (Aldi’s specially selected is £2.39) then drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar. PRESERVE: If you have a glut of the fruit, turn it into jam or chutney.Tesco has created a fabulous spiced plum and ginger chutney recipe. Simply chop 750g of plums into quarters, peel and dice 50g of ginger plus two onions and one clove of garlic. Pop it all in a saucepan with 400g of demerara sugar and 350ml of distilled white vinegar. Bring to the boil and simmer for 40 minutes before transferring to sterilised jars.
