LAHORE: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested three men in separate opera-tions in Lahore, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan for allegedly committing cyber harassment, blackmail, threats and misuse of personal data. NCCIA spokesperson Azeem Jafri said a resident of Faisalabad, was arrested in Lahore in connection with a complaint regarding alleged online harassment and defamation. The suspect had allegedly been using online platforms to harass and defame complainant Syed Muzaffar Iqbal Zehrazai. A mobile phone was recovered from his possession. In Multan, NCCIA officials arrested Jamshed Mahmood Khan from Gulgasht Gol Bagh Park. Investigators al-leged that he had shared objectionable data belonging to a woman through WhatsApp and subsequently threatened and blackmailed her. No recovery was made from the suspect. In a separate operation in Dera Ghazi Khan, the agency arrested Sajjad Sarwar for allegedly sharing a woman's objectionable data through WhatsApp, threatening her and blackmailing her.
