The three pasta products are potentially contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, which can cause flu-like symptoms including a high temperature, being sick or diarrhoea. Those over 65, pregnant women and babies can be more vulnerable to listeria infections. Shoppers have been urged not to eat the product, and instead will be able to return it to stores for a full refund. The Food Standards Agency: “Greencore is recalling three pasta products because of possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. “They are Asda Cheese & Tomato Pasta Salad; Asda Nacho Cheese Pasta Salad; and Morrisons Chicken and Bacon Pasta. “If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.
