Thousands of homes without water in north London due to burst pipe

The problem, which was first reported at around 6:45pm on Monday, has left several postcodes with low pressure, or no water at all. Thames Water is attempting to remedy the issue on Woodside Avenue in Muswell Hill, but households in the postcodes N6, N19, NW2, NW3, NW6, and NW11 are still experiencing disruption. During periods of higher demand, some customers may also experience short interruptions to their supply."We are planning to open a bottled water station this morning to support customers who may have been affected.
