Please try againWrexham currently plays in the Championship division, which is England’s second-tier league. The club hopes to get promoted to the Premier League in the near future.“We’re thrilled to welcome RBC to Wrexham,” Mac and Reynolds said in a statement. “One of us opened his first bank account with Royal Bank of Canada. We’ll let you guess which one. So, this one is personal.”Wrexham will play its opening match of the season against Cardiff City on Monday. Viewers will be able to see RBC’s shield on the back of the players’ shirts, above their name and number, on the club’s men’s and women’s home, away and third kits.Wrexham was founded in 1864 and is Wales’ oldest professional football club and the third oldest in the world. Reynolds and Mac completed their takeover of the historic club in 2021.
