That removable solar panel is especially useful because you can point the E42 toward the area you actually want to monitor while placing the panel where it gets the most sunlight. The wider coverage also makes the E42 a better fit for driveways, yards, and porches where activity does not always happen in one fixed spot. It can follow a person or vehicle as they move through the frame, and its motion detection can distinguish between people, vehicles, and more general movement. In practice, that should mean fewer false alerts. One thing to know, though, is that some of Eufy’s more advanced artificial intelligence features require the separately sold HomeBase S380, and you will need to supply your own microSD card if you want to record locally.
