In an interview with ABC4Utah, he explained how like many young makers, he started by learning how machines could turn digital designs into real objects. Then he came across MakeGood, a non-profit that connects volunteers with children who need custom 3D-printed mobility devices. Instead of printing gadgets for fun, Zac signed up to create something that could genuinely improve a child's daily life. He also included a removable tray table, a cupholder, adjustable headrest and footrest so the chair could grow with her.Even the straps were printed using a softer, flexible material for extra comfort, while the back had room for medical equipment if needed.For Zac, every printed piece brought him closer to the finished product."It combines my two favourite things in life: 3D printing and helping people in need.
