The singer recently opened up about the scrapped plan, revealing that organisers weren't willing to take responsibility for handling the massive crowd expected at his show. He also made it clear that his team couldn't shoulder that responsibility alone.Speaking during an Instagram Live session after kicking off his AURA India Tour 2026 in Delhi on October 30, Diljit recalled trying to organise a concert in Bihar last year. However, the plans hit a roadblock when the question of crowd management came up.Explaining what happened, the singer said in Punjabi, loosely translated: "We tried to go to Bihar. We had attempted to go to Bihar last time as well, but they said it was difficult to manage the crowd. They asked if we would take responsibility for it ourselves. I replied that we couldn't – they would have to take that responsibility. Since they didn't take the responsibility, we couldn't go."Watch the video here: Diljit went on to explain why managing the audience at one of his concerts isn't a small undertaking. "Managing the crowd is difficult, you see. It's not just a small gathering; it's a massive crowd. I had to consider the logistics. It's like organising an event in Delhi," he said.A concert of that scale involves much more than getting the artist on stage. Security, crowd control, parking and arrangements for people entering and leaving the venue all need to be sorted out. With thousands of fans expected to turn up, Diljit said he couldn't simply agree to take responsibility for everything himself. His comments also leave the possibility of a Bihar concert open. The singer hasn't announced a new date or venue for the state, and any plans will depend on the necessary arrangements being put in place.Meanwhile, Diljit began his AURA India Tour 2026 with a concert in Delhi on October 30. He is scheduled to perform in Chandigarh, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Indore as part of the tour. Bihar, for now, remains off the itinerary.- Ends
