There’s a breakthrough in the missing Ste case in Hollyoaks – but a twist follows

| Deputy Soaps Editor Published September 7, 2026 11:59pm Updated September 8, 2026 12:00am Ste’s whereabouts has everyone worried (Picture: Lime Pictures) There’s a major breakthrough made in the case of Ste Hay’s (Kieron Richardson) disappearance in Hollyoaks next week and it’s all thanks to James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Sienna Blake (Anna Passey). Ste, as viewers know, vanished into the crowd last week while on a trip to a spa day out when he made a stop at a local shopping centre. The residents of the eponymous village have pulled together in the scenes since, desperate to find out what happened to Ste – and hoping to figure out where he is now. Fingers were pointed aplenty in the immediate aftermath, with characters such as James and Sienna among those at the top of the list of people suspected to have had something to do with Ste’s vanishing. James and Sienna, however, are adamant that they would never hurt their beloved Ste. In fact they’re so adamant of their innocence that they decide to join forces to not only prove it – but to also find out what really happened to the missing local. Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) is soon on the case and – in addition to the video above – he manages to make a breakthrough of his own, locating and identifying all of the people Ste interacted with in the shopping centre, doing so from CCTV footage. All the characters in question are officially considered to be suspects.
