Most-played games range from Clair Obscur to Civ to Elden Ring to Halo 2 and beyond. Netflix's The Witcher had an incredibly promising start, with Henry Cavill's portrayal of Geralt of Rivia helping turn the fantasy adaptation into one of the streaming platform's biggest early successes. Unfortunately, the show struggled to maintain that momentum, with controversial changes to Andrzej Sapkowski's original stories that caused Cavill's eventual departure, not to mention other creative decisions that left longtime fans feeling abandoned. Fortunately, the franchise's video game future is looking considerably brighter. CD Projekt Red recently released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, breathing new life into one of the most beloved RPGs ever made. Meanwhile, a brand-new expansion for The Witcher 3 is coming in 2027, Songs of the Past, followed by the highly anticipated The Witcher 4, which will usher in an entirely new era for the series. However, those aren't the only exciting developments on the horizon. The Witcher is also preparing to venture into completely different territory with the upcoming release of No Man's Land. The Witcher is officially switching genres with The Witcher: No Man's Land, an upcoming tabletop miniatures skirmish game that trades the franchise's traditional open-world RPG adventures for tactical battles and strategy-driven miniature warfare. Developed by Monster Fight Club in partnership with CD Projekt Red, the new release offers a completely different way to experience the Continent and its many dangers. Although The Witcher has already expanded into tabletop gaming through other releases, No Man's Land is a major switch even within the tabletop space, allowing players to assemble their own warbands and command popular characters in battles against iconic enemies and monsters. The game uses Monster Fight Club's established [RE]action System, previously featured in Cyberpunk RED: Combat Zone. The game will feature several different modes, including traditional PvP, PvPvE, co-op, and even solo mode. The flexible "factionless system" also allows players to experiment with different character combos, while monsters can become wandering threats or the focus of dedicated hunting scenarios. At launch, No Man's Land will feature a two-player starter set containing everything necessary to begin playing, including: Geralt's Warband: Geralt of Rivia and four supporting characters Letho's Warband: Letho of Gulet and four additional fighters Monster Miniatures: A Griffin and a Striga Additional Accessories: A 22-by-30-inch playmat, scenery, cards, dice, tokens, and the official rulebook Four additional expansion packs have also been revealed, bringing more characters and monsters into the game, including familiar faces such as Yenn and Dandelion. According to a recent update, No Man's Land could be arriving very soon. Monster Fight Club previously confirmed a "Fall 2026" release window, following an earlier delay intended to give the developers additional time to refine the game and expand its content. However, that timeframe is quickly dwindling and, as of early November, an exact release date has yet to be announced. Preorders have also not officially opened, though fans can currently register through the game's Launch Oracle notification page for announcements and preorder information. Assuming Monster Fight Club's projected release window remains unchanged, No Man's Land should arrive before the end of 2026, giving The Witcher fans another major release to enjoy while awaiting the franchise's next big RPG adventure.
