The Witcher Legacy: Old World Officially Releases Summer 2027

For instance, a brand-new expansion is launching soon for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with gameplay being revealed later in August, The Witcher 4 is in development, alongside a new Witcher saga in the works, and The Witcher’s tabletop scene is thriving. In conjunction with The Witcher: Legacy's release, the currently avaialble board game The Witcher: Old World is receiving an expansion with 21 monsters from The Witcher: Legacy. These range from standard fare like cave trolls and ogres to evocative enemies like the plague maiden. The Witcher 3: Old World may not be what’s new and shiny, but it’s a fantastic game with some incredible components that fans of The Witcher will adore all the same. Fans can decide of their own accord whether they believe one is more worthwhile for them to back and pledge, of course, but it’s worth noting that The Witcher: Legacy and The Witcher: Old World are standalone board games, with the Legacy expansion for Old World simply bringing the two concepts together.
