Sign in to your TheGamer account The Witcher 3 Remastered isn't quite the upgrade that many were hoping for. While it's true that the game contains many improvements upon the original, the title is reportedly plagued with visual and performance problems, which are apparently so frequent that the game's Steam rating took a pretty big hit on release. Thankfully, it's not another Cyberpunk 2077 situation, and the game is fully playable and enjoyable for a lot of people, and CD Projekt Red has been working pretty quickly to try and push out visual and performance improvements via updates to the game. It released the game's first update at the start of the month, and now it's already revealed its plans for the next one. The Witcher 3 Remastered Is Getting Another Update Soon CD Projekt Red outlines everything that's coming in this update in the next update via its official Twitter account, and that includes those all-important "visual adjustments" and "performance improvements", with special work done on the PS5 version of the game. Outside of fixing the game's performance, CD Projekt Red also notes that Twitch drop fixes are on the way, as is the arrival of the Ukrainian localization of the game in more regions, and some small voiceover audio fixes on console. Finally, CD Projekt Red also explains that it's currently working on bringing more official mods to the game for all platforms, which should bring a bunch more optimization and fixes along with them too. Unfortunately, no word on when this update will actually drop. but judging from how quickly CD Projekt Red has been working, I can't imagine the wait being too long.
