He’s interviewed the biggest game directors, some of the industry’s top talents, told the stories of how indie games came to be, and spoken to players about what really makes them tick. He’s also interviewed some of the world’s biggest musical artists to find out how the medium has inspired their work, and TV and Film actors about their roles in video game adaptations. He even hosted a PAX panel in 2021 and made a documentary in 2024 surrounding the creation of a Disney game. Alongside this, Sam focuses on breaking news. These articles have been picked up by the biggest gaming sites, including IGN, GameSpot, and PC Gamer. He also loves to dive into the numbers behind the games. Sam’s journey in games journalism has taken him all over the world. He’s covered Gamescom in Germany, Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles, and Tokyo Game Show in Japan, each on three occasions. He’s been learning Japanese since 2024 with the intention of identifying and translating Japanese-language news and bringing it to English-language audiences first, something he’s done countless times. Sam’s first review was 2020’s Battletoads reboot, and he’s since reviewed games in The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and Pokemon franchises. CD Projekt Red made a range of fantastic improvements to its 2015 masterpiece, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with the remaster it released late last month. Visual, technical, combat, and traversal upgrades headlined the new package, but it came with a very healthy list of changes. But while the developers did their best to improve what many consider a perfect game, it still has flaws, and gamers are coming to the rescue. They've already restored a cut Yen scene and added book-accurate armor, and now they've created a cheat menu to help you enjoy the game at your own pace. The Witcher 3's Cheat Menu Has Over 25 Options, And More Are In The Works CD Projekt Over the coming weeks, you can expect a ton of fan-made content to drop for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. As players get to grips with the latest version of the game, they'll do everything they can to improve it. That's where this new cheat menu comes in. Available on Nexus Mods, it offers 27 options to make your Witcher 3 playthrough a breeze. The mods are split into six categories: Player, Crossbow, Inventory, Horse, Gwent, and World, and each one has the ability to fundamentally change the game. The Player category includes cheats such as Unlimited Health, Stamina, and Adrenaline, No Fall Damage, Unlimited Breath, Zero Toxicity, One-Hit Kills, Faster Movement Speed, and the ability for Geralt to fly. It also allows you to edit your Player Stats, level, XP, and Skill Points. The Crossbow category is a little smaller, but no less functional. The two cheats include letting Geralt's bolts travel straight instead of in an arc and letting you fire bolts at roughly one every 0.25 seconds, melting enemies. In the Inventory category, you can edit Geralt's Crown amount, have unlimited carry weight, unlimited item durability, unlimited Potions and Bombs, and unlimited potion duration. In Horse, you can give Roach unlimited stamina and no fear; in World, you can change the weather, hide the game's water, let Geralt walk underwater, and remove the World Border. And finally, in Gwent, you can instantly set Geralt's score to 300. Each of these will make your playthrough much, much easier, and together, The Witcher 3 becomes a doddle.
