The Witcher 3 Free Download Officially Available Now, No Subscription Needed

The DLC, titled Songs of the Past, will be the third DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, following Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, which were released in 2015 and 2016, respectively. It is these older DLCs that are now available to download for free for those who own the base game. This comes after CD Projekt RED headed to Gamescom to talk more about The Witcher IV, including its 2028 release window. However, it was here that the team announced that Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine would remain free for all those who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, giving all players the chance to catch up on content ahead of the launch of both Songs of the Past and The Witcher IV. Of course, this also helps celebrate the arrival of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered which launches on 29 September. Most importantly, there is no catch.
