The film registered a steady hold on Day 5, collecting Rs 5.25 crore nett across India.According to trade tracking portal Sacnilk, the Tuesday figure (as of 9:03 am) reflects a 63.41% drop compared to its Sunday peak of Rs 14.35 crore — a standard post-weekend trend for mid-to-high budget theatrical releases. More significantly, the film maintained a reasonable holding power against its opening Friday haul of Rs 8 crore, dropping by 34.38%, the report mentioned. This takes the film’s total four-day India nett collection to Rs 38.85 crore (grossing over Rs 46 crore nationwide).Having crossed the Rs 30 crore benchmark within its first three days, The Vvan now needs to sustain momentum across Tuesday and Wednesday to secure a solid First Week total above the 50 crore mark.
