Jordan’s upcoming film, The Thomas Crown Affairwas unveiled by the makers on Thursday (July 30, 2026). The film marks Jordan’s second directorial venture after Creed III and also stars Adria Arjona, Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Pilou Asbæk and Aiysha Hart.The teaser trailer opens with visuals of Thomas Crown walking in a museum. He says that he has been taking risks all his life. “But last night it was different. I felt alive.” There are glimpses of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic painting Sunflowers, which seems to be Crown’s much loved prize across all his heists. He is then shown in a series of slick action sequences as he scales skyscrapers, engages in brawls and spends time with Arjona’s character during their romantic getaway.The Thomas Crown Affair is the second American remake of the 1968 film starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Another take on the film was released in 1999, which was directed by John McTiernan and featured Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.The Thomas Crown Affair is based on a story and screenplay by Alan R. Trustman and has been written by Drew Pearce and Jason Hall. It will be released in theatres on March 5 next year.Jordan was last seen in the horror-thriller Sinners, where he played twin brothers. He won the Academy Award for his performance in the film. The actor also gave his voice for the lead character of the animated film, Swapped, which was released on Netflix in May earlier this year.
