Updated May 16, 2026, by Andrew Scariati: We've added more information about how to make the best bow build in Crimson Desert, including a reliable way to get the Infinite Arrows 2 Abyss Gear. We'll show you everything you need to make this powerful Crimson Desert bow build. Spamming Explosive Arrows by repeatedly using Evasive Shot will help you defeat bosses incredibly fast, making this the best boss-killing build in Crimson Desert. Why Make A Bow Build? While early-game bow-and-arrow builds leave something to be desired, you can make the best bow build in Crimson Desert by the midgame, or earlier if you're willing to farm some Abyss Gears. This bow build will help you melt some of the hardest bosses in the game, from massive creatures like the Stone Giant, to evasive demons like Antumbra's Spear – no boss is safe from your hail of arrows. This bow build gets better the more effort you put into finding the right equipment for it, but the two most important aspects are your skills and the Abyss Gears embedded into your weapons and armor. We'll show you how to get the strongest bow build in Crimson Desert with minimal effort. Which Skills To Use For The Best Bow Build Your chosen skills are the backbone of this powerful bow build, as they allow you to unleash tons of shots while avoiding being hit. The best skills to prioritize for your bow build include the following: Focus Focused Shot Marksmanship Evasive Shot These four skills form the core of your build and ensure you can avoid as much damage as possible while quickly pivoting to offense with several draws via Evasive Shot. Evasive Shot is the crux of this build as it allows you to fire arrows quickly by dodging while aiming to unleash an arrow at the same time as dodging. This skill allows you to move around the battlefield while eviscerating your targets. Focus is required to regenerate your spirit and slow the battle down to look for openings. It also helps enable Focused Shot, which allows you to slow time and tag enemies to fire arrows at, once you release your aim. Focused Shot is also extremely effective while in midair, as it slows time and lets you pick your target with precision. Lastly, Marksmanship will increase your base damage when firing normally, which is always helpful against stronger foes. Lv. 2 is also required before you can select Focused Shot. However, you should also consider the following skills, as they'll make your build even more potent as you get more Abyss Artifacts to spend on leveling up. Evasive Roll Charged Shot While also excellent skills, these two can be added to your build later on, as they're not essential to the quickfire build we're going for here. Evasive Roll is an excellent pairing with Evasive Shot, as you can string these to get to dodge around the battlefield like a shadow while simultaneously letting arrows fly to tear your enemies to shreds. Charged Shot is effective at breaking structures and doing more damage to larger enemies, but it isn't strictly necessary until you've gotten the other skills sorted out first. The Best Armor, Weapons & Abyss Gears To Use Finding the best gear to complete your ideal bow build in Crimson Desert can be a challenge, but luckily, you have plenty of flexibility to choose your favorite fashion to work in concert with powerful Abyss Gear choices. Which Bow Is The Best? While there are plenty of bow options to choose from, the ideal choice for this build is the Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow, thanks to its superb bonus effects and the extra slots it boasts to accommodate your Abyss Gears. Health Siphon Lv. 1 is an excellent way to ensure you're regenerating health as your arrows connect, and the two additional slots you can use to embed your own Abyss Gears are perfect for the next part of this bow build. Health Siphon Lv. 1 tends to have issues activating with Explosive Arrows. If you're using Explosive Arrows, you should switch out Health Siphon Lv. 1 for an Attack Speed Abyss Gear, or your favorite Abyss Gear that fits. Which Abyss Gears Should You Use? For your Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow, you'll want to get two Abyss Gears for the open sockets: Infinite Arrows Lv. 2 – Grants a 40 percent chance to not consume an arrow. Infinite Arrows Lv. 3 – Grants a 60 percent chance to not consume an arrow. Infinite Arrows is the best Abyss Gear to use for this build, as its Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 versions can be stacked to grant a 100 percent chance of returning an arrow every time you fire one. To embed these Abyss Gears, follow these steps: Reroll Abyss Gears with a witch using the Craft Abyss Gear tab and selecting Special Synthesis until you get both versions of Infinite Arrows. Select Create Socket and pay the witch to unlock two additional sockets for your Golden-Knotted Ancestral Bow. Select Embed Abyss Gears and choose both Infinite Arrows 2 and 3 to embed into your bow. Once you unlock the additional slots and apply the Infinite Arrows Abyss Gears, your weapon is set, and you can turn your attention to your armor. For your armor, you should prioritize the following Abyss Gears: Abyss Gear Effect Composure 3 Regain 0.3 Spirit every second. Vigor 3 Regenerate 6 percent stamina every second. Composure is essential for replenishing your Spirit so you can use your Focused Shot. Vigor ensures you can spam Evasive Shot and Evasive Roll to dodge attacks and dish out damage. Ideally, you can put both of these in a single piece of armor that won't mind new Abyss Gears; the Frostcursed Plate Boots are an excellent candidate to use for both Abyss Gears. What Gear To Equip Your armor choices are extremely flexible and ultimately up to your fashion preferences. The Dark Marksman's Plate Cloak is an excellent stylistic match for this archer build, but unfortunately, it doesn't offer any Abyss Gear slots to use. You should include at least one or two armor pieces with Abyss Gear options. Your earring and ring slots are also versatile and can be customized as you see fit, as the crux of the build is already in place. How To Use An Infinite Arrows Build To get your Infinite Arrows build online, make sure you've followed the advice above first, then it's time to get an Explosive Arrow or two to complete your build. Head over to any of the Back Alley Shops vendors, like Norden, in the southern section of Pailune, and purchase the Explosive Arrows they have in their inventory. There should only be one or two, but that's all you need. With your Explosive Arrows equipped, you now have the best bow build in Crimson Desert, as you can fire infinite Explosive Arrows quickly, allowing you to melt boss HP bars and clear out entire platoons of enemies in a few seconds. Spam Evasive Roll and Evasive Shot to your heart's content to unleash chaos on your foes. Pepper in some Focused Shots and use Kliff's glide ability to strike from above, out of the enemy's reach.
