The Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are some of the best you can buy, offering a sleek design, impressive audio, and fantastic ANC. The $400 price tag is steep, but you can now get them for much less thanks to a 50% discount from Amazon that drops them to $198. This is one of those products that won't let you down. We reviewed this model and found it a pleasure to use day-to-day. Sony refined its headphones to near perfection, making them easy to pick up, even at their original retail price. The headphones sound good straight out of the box, but you can also customize the sound to your liking. They're comfortable to wear, which is a must, and you can expect up to 30 hours of use. A quick three-minute charge gives you three hours of use if you need a fast top-up. Plus, multipoint connectivity keeps the headphones connected to two devices at once for seamless switching. Voice clarity is also quite good thanks to the beamforming microphones, so you can take and make calls on the fly without worrying about how you sound. Although these headphones don't pack down to a compact size, we still think it's worth picking them up, even if you're going to use them exclusively for travel. It's one of the few complaints we had with this model, but at this price, it's well worth it. Just be sure to pick them up from Amazon at their discounted price while you can. This is the lowest price we've seen for a brand-new pair. We don't think you'll regret this purchase.
