SHE once issued a stark warning about surgery, saying she wouldn’t “risk her life for vanity”, but it seems Marnie Simpson has had a change of heart. After recently revealing she’s had a fourth nose job, friends are now worried she is back on a slippery slope towards perfection. Sharing her experience on social media while responding to fans’ questions, she said: “I was having issues basically my body started to reject my current donor rib graft probably after pregnancy and hormones so I had to go back and have it done again but with my own rib donor.” But pals are now worried about what she will do next, as according to our insider, Marnie privately confessed she would still consider having further tweaks. Our source says: “She’s admitted she’s still thinking about having little tweaks and procedures, which has worried people close to her. “She’s had such a difficult experience with her nose and has been very vocal about warning other people against surgery.” Despite her recent surgery, Marnie confessed her regrets at having her previous nose jobs. She had her first op in 2014, followed by a second a year later to correct a bump. Her third nose job was in the US in 2018. She said: “Honestly my advice would be to not touch your nose, there [sic] so complex and it comes with so many risks I wish I could go back and not touch my nose.” It isn’t the first time Marnie has made a surgery U-turn. She said at the time: “I don’t feel pressure to look a certain way at all anymore. The only important thing to me now is the health of me and my family. “Looking a certain way is so shallow and superficial – I literally couldn’t care less.” Marnie continued: “I just don’t think that I could ever have any more surgery because even the thought of being put to sleep frightens me now. “I’m not going to risk my life when I’m a parent for vanity.” Marnie – who is also mum to Oax, three, and Kixee Moon, seven months – also admitted to having body dysmorphia and said the desire to change her appearance had gone too far, once admitting: “Once you go down that route you can’t stop it. You want to perfect everything which is impossible.” She explained: “I had body dysmorphia and anxiety and I genuinely think a lot of it stemmed from being on TV for so long. I started having surgery too young. When you’re like, 20, you don’t really know who you are and surgery is a risky move. You change your mind every week at that age.” However, she went on to have filler in her lips and cheeks, later revealing in 2022 that she had decided to “start again” with her pout and was “so happy” with the result. But she later admitted she regretted having filler, describing the damage as “irreversible”. “I would do anything to go back to my natural lips,” she told her Instagram followers at the time. She also opened up about regretting facial fillers, saying: “I haven’t had fillers in my face in a really long time as I HATE them and I honestly wish I could turn the clock back and never touch fillers.” Our source says: “Marnie said a few years ago that she was done with surgery, but she has changed her mind since then. “There’s no judgement – we know it’s her body and ultimately her decision. But we’ve watched her go through the complications and really don’t want to see her put herself through another ordeal.” Marnie – who says she can “write a book” on the issues she’s had with her nose – has never shied away from admitting that her relationship with her appearance has been complicated. She spoke about her experience on Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, revealing: “I had big wounds which were oozing. They were oozing green pus. They were really deep gashes, it looked like I had been attacked by an animal.” She went on to have corrective breast surgery in 2015. Marnie’s representatives have been approached for comment.
