Nani’s The Paradise has crossed the Rs 144 crore mark worldwide, but the film faced a significant setback on its first Monday. The Srikanth Odela-directed action drama witnessed a 68 per cent drop in its India nett collection on Day 5, earning around Rs 5 crore nett (gross minus tax), according to trade website Sacnilk. The sharp weekday fall comes after the film maintained relatively steady numbers through its opening weekend despite mixed reactions.The Paradise had collected Rs 15.70 crore nett in India on Sunday. With Monday’s Rs 5 crore, its Day 5 collection was around 68 per cent lower than the previous day. It followed that up with Rs 34.65 crore on its first official day, September 24. The film showed some stability over the weekend, collecting Rs 15.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.70 crore on Sunday. That momentum did not carry into Monday.
