The only thing that can save Sarah in Coronation Street is absolutely dastardly

Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) is trapped behind bars in Coronation Street, and the only way she can free herself…is by potentially putting someone else in prison. The character was arrested yesterday for murdering Theo Silverton (James Cartwright). Earlier this year, Sarah endured a showdown with the vile man, which eventually resulted in her hitting Theo with a metal pole. He then fell over some scaffolding and onto the floor. In the immediate aftermath, Sarah called Gary Windass (Mikey North) for help. This is a man who’s got form when it comes to covering up murders, so doing the same thing again really wasn’t an issue. Sarah’s guilt eventually saw her crumble and reveal her secret to boyfriend and copper Kit Green (Jacob Roberts). In today’s episode, Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) made it clear to Kit that Sarah is their prime suspect, but she’s suspicious that he helped his partner cover up the murder, due to the fact he attempted to retrieve Sarah’s clothes from the evidence store. It was clear Kit was no longer able to do anything to try and save Sarah from life behind bars. In her cell, Kit explained the situation to his girlfriend, and she was absolutely terrified. Doing this will increase the chances of Sarah freeing herself or securing a smaller sentence, but the possibility of Gary going to prison will also grow. But if Sarah doesn’t do anything, she will say goodbye to her life in Weatherfield for good, and go to prison for murder. Which path will she take?
