The next Toronto? Reports of urban raccoons on the rise in Calgary

Urban raccoons are increasingly spotted in Calgary, challenging the notion that Alberta's harsh winters and predator presence keep them at bay. This trend mirrors what's happening in other cities like Toronto, where raccoons thrive in urban settings. Understanding this shift could provide insights into how other wildlife adapts to human-dominated landscapes and the potential ecological impacts.
