Half of the 20 contestants didn’t know they’d be engaged to Harry Jowsey when cast on Let’s Marry Harry.Ahead of the season finale on August 12, contestants have come forward with behind-the-scenes details, including those about their engagement rings. Here’s what we know about the Let’s Marry Harry engagement rings, which were returned once they were eliminated.Upon watching Let’s Marry Harry on Netflix, your mind probably can’t help but swirl with a ton of questions. Like, how did they find all these gorgeous girls…and where do they all shop? And how do the 20 hopefuls keep the peace when their bachelor, Harry Jowsey, lives under the same roof as them? (Spoiler alert: They don’t, lol.)Of course, one of the burning questions on viewers’ minds has everything to do with those engagement rings. How are they sourced, and how much do they cost? Are they even real? Luckily, the girls are starting to spill the tea ahead of the Let’s Marry Harry finale on Wednesday, August 12. Let’s investigate, shall we?Did the girls know they might actually marry Harry Jowsey?According to one of the contestants, Rickiyah: nope! In a TikTok posted on August 8, three days after the show premiered on Netflix, she dropped this bombshell: “Did you know that about half of the girls who were on Let’s Marry Harry did not know that Harry Jowsey was the man that they were going to be engaged to and possibly marrying when they were originally cast for a dating show?”Two of the other contestants, Mya and Elli, also joined forces for a TikTok spilling all the tea from the show that same day.“We were all sequestered in groups of three or four. We had no idea what was about to go on,” Mya dished about their 18-hour filming day for the premiere episode. “So one by one we had to walk down a path, and they just said, ‘At the end of this path there’s going to be something, and feel free to take as long a time as you need [to] take in your reaction.’”She continued, “No thought crossed my mind that it would be an engagement ring. I thought it was like at the end; that’s when you get engaged. We were all engaged to Harry Jowsey.”Elli chimed in, explaining that what they found at the end was “Our dream ring that we told the producers during casting that if we’re the one at the end, ‘This is the engagement ring I want.’”Add Cosmopolitan as a preferred source in your Google search results.Use your Google account to add this to your settings.More on that below…NetflixLet’s put it this way: If Netflix could chuck up a couple thousand dollars for their Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum engagement rings/entire wedding ceremonies, then they definitely have a jewelry budget allocated for Let’s Marry Harry, too.According to Emma, who also appeared on the show, the rings were “super real” and supplied by Ring Concierge.“Guys, I hate to break it to you. They were super real. Not only were they super real, they were so beautiful. And, actually, I had the best one,” she gushed in a TikTok video posted on August 7.She continued, “Before we started filming, production asked us what our dream engagement ring would be. All the girls got beautiful rings…Because I’m different, when they said, ‘What is your dream engagement ring?’ all I put was ‘funky.’”How much were the engagement rings on Let’s Marry Harry? The fiancées had to return their rings once they were eliminated from the dating show, but if you were wondering about the potential cost, the price of Ring Concierge’s selection ranges from $128 to $15,500. With these potentially being customized rings because of the “dream engagement ring” prompt…we’re probably looking at the higher end here.
