There’s one fashion brand you’ll likely have seen all over your social feeds this summer: Fuchsia Shaw. With its polished, trend-conscious designs and unmistakable city appeal, it’s easy to see why the brand has become a fixture of our feeds. Better still, the hype feels entirely justified. The independent London-based womenswear label was founded by stylist and content creator Amy Shaw in 2018. Relaunched in 2024, the label has harnessed the power of social media to garner a cult following. Its wearable wardrobe staples with sculptural silhouettes can be spotted all over London, from that funnel neck oversized jacket, to the asymmetrical check top with matching bermuda shorts, and the corset-style brown midi dress. Fuchsia Shaw All of the above have made their way into my wardrobe this year – with zero regrets. At £65 for a top and around £150 for a jacket, the prices are on par with mid-range high street brands, but Fuchsia Shaw pays particular attention to fabrication (crisp cottons with stretch and 100 per cent linen). If you’re looking for your next alternative to Zara, Mango or Massimo Dutti, give this independent designer some love next payday. Here are my favourite pieces, from sharp suits to feminine lace co-ords.Fuchsia Shaw the Arden jacket Fuchsia Shaw The ultimate lightweight jacket, the Fuchsia Shaw Arden style is the perfect layer for spring and autumn. With year-round appeal – I’m about to dig it back out again for the end of summer – and a chic funnel neck, the oversized jacket is available in beige, red, baby blue and check (perfect for autumn). Fuchsia Shaw Camella dress in walnut Fuchsia Shaw The Camella style has fast become my most-worn evening dress when I want to look dressy without trying too hard. Delivering effortless elegance with its midi hem and classic brown finish, the corset-style body adds flattering detail. The crisp cotton fabric is weighty and soft, keeping its shape despite being squeezed in a packing cube for weekends away. Fuchsia Shaw linen shirt Fuchsia ShawEvery wardrobe needs a good shirt. Crafted from 100 per cent linen, the Daphne comes in brown, black and blue – but the main appeal is the detachable waist tie that creates a flattering cinched-in shape. I love the V-neck line and fabric loop buttons that nod to the frog-fastening trend while feeling timeless. Fuchsia Shaw Iris top in checkFuchsia Shaw Designed with styling versatility in mind, the Iris top is reversible with a check or plain grey side. The cotton fabric is an unlikely contender for a flattering top when initially unpackaged. However, the customisable halterneck line, asymmetric hem and backless silhouette create an effortlessly cool look. I’d suggest a stick-on bra, as the material can be a little scratchy on bare chests. Fuchsia Shaw The Bette top in poppy Fuchsia ShawA more androgynous version of the Daphne shirt, the Bette offers endless styling possibilities. With an adjustable tie, cinch the shirt in and style with wide-leg linen trousers or wear loose over fitted capris. Available in red or white, the shirt boasts a high neckline and fabric-covered buttons with loop fastenings.
