‘The Gentlemen’ Season 3 Cast Additions Include Orlando Bloom, Robert Carlyle & Elijah Wood But No Meghan Markle; Here’s Who’s Not Coming Back

Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen is adding a few more gentlemen (and ladies) for its third season, which has started production in UK and Morocco. Joining the Theo James-starring series are Orlando Bloom (The Cut), Robert Carlyle (Line of Duty), Elijah Wood (Yellowjackets), Dexter Fletcher (Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), and Bruna Marquezine (Blue Beetle), as well as Ed Speleers (You), Saffron Burrows (You), and Bugzy Malone (Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre). The Middle East-set new season will not feature Suits alumna Meghan Markle who had had conversations about a role but that is no longer in the cards. Watch on Deadline James leads The Gentlemen‘s returning cast alongside Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins and Benjamin Clementine — who all have been on the show since Season 1 — as well as Maya Jama, who made her debut in Season 2 playing the glamorous and well-connected fixer, Aisha. Not returning for Season 3 are two core cast members who had been with The Gentlemen since the start, Daniel Ings, who plays Lord Frederick “Freddy” Horniman, Eddie’s (James) cocaine-addicted older brother, and Giancarlo Esposito as American billionaire and drug kingpin Stanley Johnston. Freddy was last seen in the Season 2 finale bloodied and traumatized, holding Gospel John Dixon’s severed head after he had been forced by Eddie to decapitate him as punishment for helping Dixon carry on the plane explosion that killed Eddie’s wife, Bella. Meanwhile, Stanley was arrested over his illegal dealings. “I’m not in the next one, so that’s a fun sense of closure,” Ings recently told HATC Magazine. “I see it as closure for the character in a way; it just ends as this wild, broken, crazy, probably mumbling into the ether somewhere in the British countryside.” Theo James & Kaya Scodelario in Season 3 of ‘The Gentlemen.’ Netflix In Season 3, Eddie (James) and Susie (Scodelario) embark upon their most audacious project yet: building a casino in the Middle East.
