The first Galaxy Z Fold 8 discount ever drops the wider foldable to $1,650

Samsung’s smash-hit Galaxy Z Fold 8 is popular enough to the point where the company can barely keep up with demand, but it’s not stopping the first actual discount on the wide foldable which takes the starting price down to $1,650. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 usually starts at $1,899 for its base 256GB model, less than the Fold 7, while matching the Motorola Razr Fold and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. But price is still one of the biggest points of friction in the foldable space, so trade-ins and discounts are the most appealing way to get your hands on these devices. Right now, Samsung has cut Galaxy Z Fold 8 prices across third-party retailers. Amazon and Best Buy both have $250 discounts across all Fold 8 variants. This comes not long after a $300 discount on Fold 8 Ultra last week. Plus, you can still stack trade-ins on top of this discount. Amazon continues to offer a $200 boost on top of trade-in values, while Best Buy still offers up to $750 in trade-in values. Samsung.com is not offering this discount right now.
