The Fate of Nobody Wants This Revealed After Season 3

Will Dax Shepard Make a ‘Nobody Wants This’ Cameo? Kristen Bell Says...As it turns out, everybody wants more Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. Following the success of season three of Nobody Wants This, Netflix confirmed the romantic comedy was renewed for a fourth season. The exciting news was also confirmed by Bell, who shared on Instagram Nov. 6 that “season 4 is coming” alongside a clip from season three—in which Brody’s character proposes—of her and fellow costars Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons excitedly celebrating. The show’s creator Erin Foster was also overjoyed by the news, resharing the video to her Instagram Story with the caption, “It’s official.” She and her fellow producers Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan shared their excitement in a Nov. 6 press release from Netflix, joking, “We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run.” And the show is extra special for Foster as she was inspired to create Nobody Wants This based on her own experiences with husband Simon Tikhman. In fact, season three’s proposal episode was actually inspired by how Tikhman proposed to her in 2019, fake wedding and all. “About a month before he proposed,” Foster narrated an Oct. 28 Instagram video, “we got this invitation to a wedding vow renewal. It had attire and a schedule for the whole weekend.” And while Foster flew to Napa Valley fully expecting to attend a wedding, she was instead surprised by a proposal, as well as both her and Tikhman’s families jumping out to celebrate after hiding in a barn during the proposal. Katrina Marchinowski/NetflixStill, the 44-year-old—who shares daughter Noa, 2, with Tikhman—has been conscious of how much of her actual life she includes in the series. “I always have to be careful to not think that everything that happens in my life and my relationship is going to translate and be right for a script,” Foster shared with The Hollywood Reporter in 2025, “and the best way to figure that out is really in the writers' room.” For a look at the fate of more of your favorite TV shows, keep reading.Courtesy of NetflixRENEWED: The DiplomatNo international scandal here.
