Sign in to your TheGamer account The Duskbloods previews are finally here, giving us some much-needed information about the title. For some reason, FromSoftware is keeping its cards close to its chest with The Duskbloods, but a series of leaks has given us more info, such as the game's characters and their abilities, but a new leak now seems to have given us that all-important release date. The Duskbloods Is Potentially Being Thrown On The September Pile Various previews from big outlets have been released today, as games media has had hands-on with the game alongside those in the Closed Network Test, and one of these previews appears to have given us a release date, seemingly by accident. According to The Guardian, The Duskbloods is set to release on September 24, which is a little over a month away. Of course, this date is worth taking with a pinch of salt, as it could have been some kind of mistake. The article's author, Kirk McKeand, also recently claimed via his BlueSky account that the article's editor "added that in by mistake" and that it isn't true, but at the same time, it's an awfully specific date to include in a preview article. We'll have to wait and see how much merit there is to it, but I'm personally leaning towards it being true. September is a very popular month for games at the moment, with sites keen to dodge Grand Theft Auto 6's release, and if the rumors about Ocarina of Time's potential November release are also true, it probably doesn't want two system sellers releasing too close to each other. Then again, if it does release in September, The Duskbloods will have a lot of competition. Not only are massive games like Marvel's Wolverine, Control Resonant, and Nintendo's very own Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave releasing, but you also have smaller titles like The Blood of Dawnwalker, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. It's a pretty packed month, and October isn't much better, but outside of going toe-to-toe with GTA 6, there aren't many other places for The Duskbloods to slot in.
