THE Chase’s Mark Labbett has reunited with his telly presenter ex Hayley Palmer – two years on from their messy split. Hayley, 45, and chaser Mark went on their first date back in May 2023 but just a week after celebrating their one year anniversary he broke up with her during a three minute phone call. Is Nando’s night.” During their year-long romance, the smitten pair spoke very highly of each other admitting they both “couldn’t be happier.” But after their sad split, jilted Hayley took numerous swipes at the 6ft 7in quizzer, nicknamed The Beast. She claimed he ended their relationship because he didn’t want to divorce his ex-wife Katie. Numbers are easy. People are complicated. “I could sum me up as the kind of guy who could tell you the capital of Estonia is Tallinn but would have no idea why that pretty girl is giving me a funny half-smile. “That’s why I never played poker seriously, because I realised I can’t read people.” Hayley hit back at Mark, taking to her Instagram, she told fans: “I think it’s a shame that someone could say something so heartless over a relationship that lasted over a year.” While they’re yet to officially announce they’re back together, they do appear to have patched things up.
