Since beginning his writing career, he has written for many different publications such as WorldStart, Listverse, and MakeTechEasier. I love e-ink displays, and Boox has been spoiling us with some excellent releases recently. If you haven't been keeping up to date with your Boox news, the company recently showed off three devices, all of which use e-ink technology but handle different use cases. Now, the company has dropped a fourth called the Picco, and if you're on the hunt for an e-reader you can pop in your pocket, this one is for you. The Boox Picco is an e-ink reader you can take anywhere It's also very cute In press release, Boox gave us all the details on what this little device can do. Right off the bat, you'll notice how small it is, with Boox saying it's "roughly the size of a playing card." If you've ever lamented how big a tablet or a Kindle can get, the Boox Picco aims to solve those woes by giving you something you can slip into your jeans pocket without a problem. As for the hardware, we're looking at a 3.97-inch monochrome ePaper display, with 235 PPI resolution, adjustable front lighting, and different brightness settings to fit different environments. You can skim through your books using the built-in touchscreen, but if you prefer the tactile feedback of pressing something to turn the page, you can hit the page-turn buttons instead. And no matter how you hold the device, the screen will rotate to match you. For storage, it comes with a 16GB microSD card that should be more than enough for all your books. Bibliophiles will be pleased to know you can expand that to 2TB, which should be enough space for a lifetime of books. You can add your books via the Boox Tiles app, or you can use a web browser or USB-C if you prefer. If you'd like your own, you can preorder one starting today from the Boox store for $100
