The sale runs for just two days, Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, and features some solid discounts on gaming accessories and multiplatform games. If you're looking to pick up a new gaming headset, controller, or keyboard, Prime Day is a great time to save a little cash while you do it. Here are some of our favorite picks. 1 8BitDo Arcade Stick for Switch 2, Switch and Windows PC Image: 8bitdo via Amazon Playing fighting games like Street Fighter 6 and Super Smash Bros. No more wrangling pesky shoulder buttons! This vivid purple number is designed specifically to be used for Nintendo consoles and PC, and with the current Amazon sale that takes the price from $89.99 to $69.99, it's significantly cheaper than a Pro Controller. Buy at Amazon — $89.99 3 The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Looking for an action RPG that blends the charm of old-school visuals with modern quality-of-life perks? Look no further. The Adventures of Elliot was developed by Square Enix's Team Asano, in collaboration with studio Claytechworks. It's a mix of 2D Zelda with Secret of Mana style weapon swapping. As Elliot, you'll bounce between the world of Philabieldia in four different eras, reshaping the past to create a brighter future. The game was just released back in June, and now physical copies are 25% off on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Buy at Amazon — $28.21 6 Resident Evil Requiem Image: Capcom via Polygon The ninth mainline Resident Evil game launched back in February to widespread acclaim and series-best sales, and has remained a solid GOTY contender in the months since. Resident Evil Requiem splits your time between newcomer Grace Ashcroft and returning badass Leon S. Kennedy, striking a compelling balance between survival horror chills and high-octane action. Though it calls back to earlier games in the series, it's a fantastic entry point for newcomers — especially if you're curious about the games after watching Zach Cregger's hit movie. Requiem is easy to recommend at full price, but with a $20 discount on Switch 2, PS5, and Series X, it's even easier. Buy at Amazon — $49.99 7 Sandisk 512GB microSD Express Card for Nintendo Switch 2 Image: Sandisk via Amazon It's a sad fact of life that memory cards and hard drives aren't getting any cheaper. It's bursting with awesome '70s and '80s cabinet art and immaculate vibes. Buy at Amazon — $27.36 9 Samsung SSD 9100 Pro 2TB Image: Samsung via Amazon If you're looking to add a bigger hard drive to your PC setup, Amazon's got some eye-catching deals on Samsung solid-state drives, including this 2TB one at a massive discount. Reviewers praise this hard drive's speed and ease of installation, but it's worth noting this particular version doesn't have a heat sink — it's available, but it'll cost you extra. Even so, at 49% off, this is a viable way to get a few more years out of your current PC. Buy at Amazon — $349.99 10 Nex Playground + 12-Month Play Pass Bundle Image: Nex via Amazon If you want to share your love of gaming with your young kids, Nex Playground is a fantastic alternative to the big-three console makers.
