The 6 types of mother you'll meet on the school run - and the cruel jibes they're making behind your back. No wonder even Jennifer Lawrence resorted to surgery to keep up appearances: ANNETTE KELLOW

Sidling up to the Kensington school gates for my son's first day of reception, I thought I looked put together. Floral dress? Check. Makeup and blow-dry? Most definitely. But then I noticed something altogether different. There were a group of mothers who looked so elite and glamourous that there was only one category for them: 'hot mums.'You could tell by their designer garb and enormous diamond wedding rings that they were the epitome of luxury. With their polished clothes, bodies, hair and faces, I instantly felt scruffy and wanted to know all their beauty secrets. What they'd had done, who trained them, and where did they find their hairdresser? Would they even talk to me? I was willing to find out. Now, Jennifer Lawrence has added herself to the hot mothers list, declaring: 'I want to be a sexy mum.' The 36-year-old told The Cut, a New York magazine: 'At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s*** together even when I've just woken up and don't have my s*** together.'She also revealed she's had a breast augmentation, dabbled in 'baby Botox,' and won't be ruling out a facelift in the future. While many are dissecting her latest interview shoot, I say let her indulge in whatever she fancies. After two young children and a busy filming schedule, she looks like she's already joined the hot mum club. And who can blame her? In Britain, we were once used to mothers venturing out in their onesies and doing drop-offs while munching on a sausage McMuffin. But there's a new breed of mothers in town, and self-care is their middle name.Just like Jennifer, these women make no pretence that they want to look and feel their absolute best, even if they won't disclose which surgeons they have on speed dial or just how much those heels were. And while they may smile to your face, these types of parents will secretly be judging you behind closed doors, as I found out when meeting a few at my local school…Jennifer Lawrence, 36, looks unrecognisable in new photos for The Cut, after undergoing several cosmetic tweakments The actress said this week she went under the knife because she 'wants to be a sexy mom' – and added that she has plans to have a facelift in the future The Perfect Body MumIs it Ozempic or is it Antonio, her personal trainer? Nobody quite knows, but she's svelte in every possible way. Green smoothies are her go-to, and if you start scoffing the finger food at your kids' birthday party, she'll give you the side eye.Her self-control is in a league of its own, and she looks amazing wearing apparel as everyday wear. Her gym membership is top tier, and she'll recommend all the best supplements for hair, nails and skin. Spoiler: They will cost an absolute fortune, but you'll eagerly put notes in your phone acting like you're about to run off to Whole Foods to buy the lot because you want to save face.I rarely saw perfect body mum at the school gates as she had a full-time nanny, but on occasion I got to admire her fabulously sculpted look at school events. One morning I decided to treat myself to a £10 trial class at a local barre studio. Lo and behold, perfect body mum was there. To my horror, the only place for my mat was beside hers, and I had to sweat and grunt through moves I simply could not do for a full hour. In turn, she barely broke a sweat and looked like a graceful swan.At the end, she asked me if this was my first time, and when I said 'no' but I only go once or twice a month, she didn't look impressed. She excused herself by saying, 'I have a box fit session in 20 minutes,' and I must admit I was floored by her dedication. The Designer Mum Annette Kellow (pictured) said: 'In Britain, we were once used to mothers venturing out in their onesies and doing drop-offs while munching on a sausage McMuffin. But there's a new breed of mothers in town, and self-care is their middle name'Designer mum has been on the Hermes list for years and doesn't have to jump through any hoops to get the latest Vert Cypress alligator with gold hardware. She's on first-name terms with most of Sloane Street's sales associates and always gets invited to the latest champagne-infused launches. This woman has Chanels that have been handed down from her grandmother but also the latest Dior limited editions. She's never tacky though. Unless you look closely, you'd barely see the logos, and she doesn't chuck a million labels on at the same time. She also enjoys wearing royal favourites and her signature fragrance is a personalised Floris London, and her casual school run gloves are Cornelia James.I committed the ultimate faux pas with designer mum, and I've never recovered. She's always been so friendly; I felt like we were pals and we'd enjoyed many a conversation about fashion. So one day, when I spied her lambskin mini Chanel, I told her I had the same one. The only snag? I'd bought mine from dupe central, Canal Street in New York.I've always loved a fake, and honestly, I don't see much of a difference, but instantly regretted my decision as she very firmly stated that buying fakes was often connected to dodgy networks.'I just saw a guy selling them on the street,' I tried to reason. 'There were loads of people buying from him. Even celebrities sometimes admit to wearing fakes.'I have a few fake-wearing friends who even believe the bags all come out of the same factory, but I dare not tell her that.'No warranty, no quality! It's cruel to the brands!' she exclaimed, and that was the end of our short-lived friendship. The Tweakment Mum 'Just like Jennifer, these women make no pretence that they want to look and feel their absolute best, even if they won't disclose which surgeons they have on speed dial or just how much those heels were,' said Annette (pictured with her son)On first glance, the tweakment mother looks completely au natural. The body is amazing, the breasts look perky, and the face is absolute perfection. It's hard to tell her age; it could be anything from 30 to 40, and it's, of course, rude to ask.But look a fraction closer, and you will see the eyebrows do not move, and there's not a wrinkle in sight when she tries to laugh or frown, so there may be more to it than organic Korean skincare. At sports day, I divulged to tweakment mother that I'd had a mummy makeover, thinking it would help us bond, and she would also dish the dirt on what she'd had done. After my son was born at nearly 10 pounds, I'd had the worst diastasis recti - a separation of the abdominal muscles, common following pregnancy - and my stomach muscles had completely ripped down.No amount of sit-ups or celery juices was putting them back together, and my stomach looked constantly bloated. There was only one thing for it: surgery.Dr Jonathan Dunne did an amazing job, even getting rid of some of my loose excess skin. Functional and fabulous! I looked like I'd been on a Victoria's Secret style regime without lifting a finger. When I told tweakment mum, she sat without blinking. I then asked whether she liked to do any treatments, surgeries and what she secretly thinks of Botox. She just smiled some-what mysteriously, and said, 'It's all Argan oil, darling.'The Crunchy Sexy MumCrunchy sexy mother swears by everything organic and has completely banned sugar from her children's diet. Fruit and fibre intake are closely monitored and her idea of a good day out is colonic hydrotherapy in Chelsea. She showcases all of this on her living well Instagram page, where she hypes the joys of free (unassisted) birthing and shoots bone broth videos by her Aga cooker. She prefers hemp or 100 per cent cotton and wouldn't be seen dead wearing anything polyester.Get chatting to her, and she'll highlight the significance of importing spring water in glass bottles to stop your children getting dental fluorosis. This type of woman will also gift your little one a set of chakra stones for their birthday and burn sage as soon as you set foot through her door.If you don't get on the organic train, you're literally ostracised, as she's so worried about the microplastics epidemic that she keeps her child firmly away from yours in case of cross-contamination.One day, crunchy but sexy mum shared how she uses beef tallow as massage oil for her husband, which she swears 'keeps him happy and healthy.' She then divulged how they'd gone on a couples retreat which included journaling, meditation and yoga. When I shared to crunchy mum that I was single, she looked at me with pity. Then she apparently told another mother that I wasn't trying hard enough to ringfence myself a new man, and it's no wonder my energy's off when I bring my son Magnums after school.'Sugar overload in that household,' she had stated. 'Bad for your gut microbiome.'The Ex-model Mum 'And while they may smile to your face, these types of parents will secretly be judging you behind closed doors, as I found out when meeting a few at my local school', the writer addedThe world is your runway, is ex-model mum's motto as she glides across the playground, openly towering over the other mothers, who look up at her in awe.Known as Vivienne Westwood's muse in the early 2000s and appearing on the cover of every high-end glossy, she has now started a baby boutique, all with the help of her five assistants and husband's investor contacts. While you may not fit into her tax bracket, she's always friendly to your face and will stop for a chat. She's quiet in the school WhatsApp group, barely saying a word, but you can be sure she's created her own private breakout group with some of the other uber polished mothers. Here is where the real juice is shared. I once tried to infiltrate the group when they said they'd been discussing what was needed for the school sale. I offered to help and discuss more, but was point-blank refused.I've now concluded that while many may perceive hot mums' behaviour as aloof or cold, they are the opposite. In a world where 71 per cent of mothers feel overloaded in the UK, where their husbands happily take up extreme sports or marathons without a worry in the world, I say let's turn the tables and prioritise ourselves instead.A little bit of glam goes a long way, whether it's a new nail polish or a secret tweakment, it's important to focus on ourselves, especially when we become mothers and time is of the essence. We shouldn't judge others when they want to look and feel their best, and personally, I believe Jennifer Lawrence is onto something that all mothers can enjoy.
