The DiamondClean 9900 knows exactly which part of my mouth I’m brushing and how much longer I need to brush. With vibration, sound, and visual feedback to indicate when a section is complete, I always know when it’s time to move on. That’s right, Oral-B started it all more than a decade ago, making it a reliable choice here. It also has more models of smart electric toothbrushes than any other brand (as far as we know) with its 10 different iO series models and legacy Genius and Smart series models.Clearly, there are a bunch of options we could have gone with here, but when you weigh the cost, benefits, and special features, the iO Series 7 is our favorite. Like the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9900, it has an interactive display you can swipe through to see a brushing timer, brushing modes, and battery level. Quip, a brand known for its affordable, minimalist electric toothbrushes, recently launched a new smart electric toothbrush that combines everything we love about the Rev Oscillating Toothbrush with the Bluetooth connectivity of a smart toothbrush.
