The students have sought an inquiry into alleged financial irregularities involving the university's examination agency. It inconvenienced teachers and other employees.Later, DDU additional proctor Dr Ved Prakash Rai reached the spot with police and university security guards. The students were asked to clear the premises, but they did not budge.A heated argument ensued, which eventually turned into an altercation. Another video showed pushing and shoving during the chaos. As the situation escalated, Rai was quickly moved away from the spot by the police. It was during this episode that the video of the sub-inspector warning the protesting students went viral.
