The situation then escalated as some members of the group responded with profanity — one girl told the woman, in English, to “shut the f… up” — and approached her to argue. One of the teenagers was seen making an obscene hand gesture, raising their middle finger, while another said, “Sorry for bringing money to your country.” The woman continued to explain that, as visitors, they should respect local etiquette by keeping their voices down on public transport. Towards the end of the clip, members of the group exchanged further insults with the person filming before cheering and applauding among themselves. They later disembarked from the train.
