Coleman’s absence means Texas wide receiver Ryan Wingo will be especially important for Arch Manning and the Longhorns passing attack. He heads into Week 10 with a team-high 36 receptions for 470 yards, along with four touchdowns. Earlier this week, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian praised Wingo’s development during his career in Austin. He cited the impact he has on the receiver room and what he means inside the locker room as a whole, as well. “His development has been phenomenal,” Sarkisian said. “Obviously, he played a lot for us as a true freshman. His role has grown year in and year out. The thing about him now is he’s a pro. He prepares like a pro mentally and physically. “He plays confidently, and he is one of our top three or four leaders on this team. His ability to pick guys up when they’re down, motivate and play the game the way we want it to be played — I can’t say enough glowing things about Ryan Wingo right now and all that he’s meant to our program.”
