He participated in preseason camp while working back from the left fibula injury he suffered during the Maroon and White Game in April, which required surgery. “Right now, yes,” said Aggie coach Mike Elko when asked Monday if he believed Sanford would be available against Missouri State. “Probably still a little bit of a game-time decision. But if you were to ask me right now, then yes, I anticipate him being out there.” Elko previously ruled two reserve players – running back Tiger Riden Jr. and defensive tackle Chace Sims – out for the season with undisclosed injuries.
