TESCO is currently trialling a major change to its coffee machines in Express stores. Shoppers looking to pick up a hot drink on-the-go are in luck as the new drinks are part of a fan favourite deal. Shoppers can choose from all the classic warming beverages, including an Americano, Flat White, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Mocha, Hot Chocolate and Breakfast Tea. Coffee is made with a medium-roast blend, roasted in the UK and is Rainforest Alliance certified. Syrups are also set to be added to the machine in due course, allowing customers to add flavours to their coffees. Fans of the meal deal will be pleased to know that some of the new drinks will also form part of the lunchtime staple. Shoppers will be able to enjoy a small hot drink as part of the discounted trio of items. The new hot drinks pilot follows the supermarket’s longstanding offering of Costa Express machines located in over 2,800 stores.
