TESCO has launched a new offer today that gives shoppers free delivery until January. Existing customers can automatically benefit from the service while new customers will need to sign up for a special membership to benefit from the savings. Whoosh is Tesco’s own rapid same-day delivery service which promises customers groceries at their front door in 20-30 minutes from local stores. To benefit from the free delivery offer, Tesco shoppers must be signed up to the supermarket giant’s Anytime Delivery Saver service. Those with an existing membership will benefit automatically from the new offer, while any new customers will need to sign up to an Anytime Delivery Saver plan before October 18. Shoppers can opt for two different types of Anytime Delivery Saver plan: either £7.99 a month for six months, or £6.99 a month for 12 months. As part of the retailer’s Delivery Saver guarantee, shoppers will receive coupons for the difference if they don’t end up saving on delivery charges. Anyone with an Anytime Delivery Saver subscription can also get exclusive priority access to Tesco Christmas delivery slots – ideal for any last-minute festive purchases.
