The retailer has just announced a major expansion to its list of points partners, with more than 500 new places being added. This means Clubcard members will now be able to earn points as they shop with hundreds of brands, whereas previously there were only 13 places to do so. As well as earning points when you buy your groceries, you’ll now be able to collect them when buying Nike trainers, ordering a gift from Etsy, or shopping the latest trends at ASOS or Oliver Bonas. Music lovers can earn Clubcard points now when they book to attend a gig via Ticketmaster, and you can receive them when buying National Express tickets too. The amount of points available varies by partner, with some offering more than the usual one point per pound spent. For instance, Nike is currently offering up to four Clubcard points for every £1 spent, meaning you’d get 400 points if you spent £100. This would turn into a £4 Clubcard voucher. It’s worth noting that there’s currently no option to collect points with the new partners when shopping in physical stores, only online.
