Tesco Clubcard Challenges is back today and you can get up to £50 worth of points

MILLIONS of Tesco shoppers could be in line for a £50 windfall this month – but you’ll need to act now to get the cash. The major supermarket has confirmed its Clubcard Challenges are back, giving loyal customers the chance to top up their points by doing the weekly shop. The challenges will run from August 3 to September 13. Under the scheme Clubcard members set spending goals and complete personalised challenges. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! This time shoppers can select ten shopping challenges to purchase certain products in store or through home delivery. If they hit the targets then they will earn extra points on top of their usual rewards. Read more on supermarkets Shoppers who complete every challenge can get their hands on up to 5,000 additional Clubcard vouchers, worth £50. They can exchange the points for money off their weekly shop or double their value by spending them with one of the supermarket’s rewards partners, which include Disney+ and the RAC. But not everyone will be in with the chance to win. Only certain shoppers will be automatically entered, so you need to log into your Tesco Grocery & Clubcard account to check if you’re on the list. Most read in Money Those who have been selected will get a notification or will see a banner in the app inviting them to take part. Shoppers have taken to social media website Facebook to voice their disappointment on missing out. One said: “I miss mine so much. Got loads from them last year but stopped getting them beginning of this year.” Meanwhile, another said: “I’ve only had 1 in the last year which was the last 1 and havent got selected this time. Would love to know how they pick.” While others criticised the challenges. One shopper said: “Not the best this time £45 on fruit. If only we could afford this much on fruit.” The supermarket is also giving shoppers the chance to win a four-star family holiday to the Mediterranean when they spend £25 at Tesco this summer. There are 40 all-inclusive holidays up for grabs. The seven day holidays are for up to four people and can be taken in Mallorca, Zakynthos or Dalaman in Turkey. Meanwhile, the winner will also get £500 of spending money and free travel insurance thanks to Tesco. To be in with a chance to win shoppers need to make a qualifying purchase of £25 in store or online between today and September 1. Shoppers will get a single entry to the draw for every day they make a qualifying £25 purchase at Tesco this summer, so the more times they shop the greater the chance to win. Comment now
