Temperatures across Egypt to continue rising until end of July

The forecast indicates the arrival of a heat wave, with slightly hot and humid conditions expected at night and early morning hours, becoming very hot and humid during the day across most areas. Hot and humid weather is expected along the northern coast. Weather maps warned of fog formation from four am to eight am on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. The fog may be dense at times on some roads. The authority urged citizens to exercise caution while driving in the morning hours due to fog. Satellite data also indicated intermittent wind activity from Thursday until Monday in areas of the northwestern coast, Greater Cairo, and Lower Egypt, which will contribute to a slight cooling effect. The authority said that Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will experience high temperatures ranging between 37C and 38C, with a perceived temperature of 40C. The North Coast will see highs of 31C and a perceived temperature of 35C. Northern Upper Egypt will experience highs of 40C and a perceived temperature of 43C, while southern Upper Egypt will reach highs of 44C, with a perceived temperature of 45C on some days.
