Telangana woman, 25, dies in US after collapsing outside residence during night walk

A 25-year-old woman from Telangana died of a suspected cardiac arrest in Albany, New York, on Friday, just as she was preparing to begin a new chapter of her life after completing her Master of Science (MS) degree and securing a job.Akshitha, the daughter of Telangana-based businessman Nallamala Anand, had travelled to the United States to pursue higher education and had recently completed her MS degree.According to family members, Akshitha was walking outside her residence after dinner when she suddenly collapsed.Her brother, Akshay, came outside a little later and found Akshitha lying unconscious on the ground. With the help of his neighbours, he rushed her to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but doctors declared her brought dead. The family said that Akshitha had secured a job recently and was preparing to start work, making her sudden death all the more devastating for her family.Her family, who lives in Telangana's Khammam district is now making arrangements to bring her mortal remains back to India for the final rites. - Ends
