But information pertaining to the endowment and wakf lands in certain mandals is not uploaded yet. “Prohibition data is under review. It will be published soon,” says the website.The development follows concerns expressed by the owners that their properties are put under the prohibited list disallowing any transactions on them without their knowledge. Owners are being informed about their properties being put in the prohibited list only when they visit the sub-registrar officer (SRO) concerned for transactions like sale, gift, mortgage and others.Toll-free numberThe government has put in place a toll free number allowing people to register their complaints against inclusion of their properties under Section 22A and the call centres received few hundreds of calls in the past one week.Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has asserted that the government is committed to protect the rights of genuine owners under any circumstances. But, it would take some time for resolving cases pertaining to bhudan and other categories of lands as cases were under different stages of adjudication by courts.How to access details of prohibited properties?People have to look for the option ‘Prohibited property’ on the Stamps and Registration’s website. Upon clicking it, a webpage will ask people to select district, mandal and village or town. The results are categories under ‘Agriculture’ and ‘Non-agriculture’. The list includes properties under 22 A (1) (a), 22 A (1) (b), 22 A (1) (c)-Waqf, 22 A (1) (c)-Endowments, 22 A (1) (d), 22 A (1) (e), Court cases & others. And, they were suggested to approach Waqf CEO or Endowments Commissioner for grievances pertaining to Section 22 A (1) (c). For grievances related to Section 22 A (1) (e), people have to to approach the Committee constituted for this purpose, at the office of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).
