Teen boy ‘seriously sexually assaulted’ by masked man at popular park in broad daylight attack – as cops launch manhunt

NewsUK News COPS are investigating reports a teenage boy was “seriously sexually assaulted” by a masked man in a terrifying broad day light attack. Detectives have launched a major manhunt after the shocking incident at the Snowden Pavilion Park in Crowland, Lincolnshire. Emergency services raced to the playing ground near Six Acre Lane at around 12.51pm yesterday. Officers believe the terrifying assault took place minutes earlier – between 12.15pm and 12.45pm. The victim, a teenage boy, is currently being supported by specially trained officers following the ordeal. Cops described the attacker as being of slim build and is believed to be of mixed race. The force added he was wearing a grey tracksuit consisting of a hooded top and jogging bottoms. Cops add he was wearing a black cap, a black face covering over his mouth and nose, and black gloves. Detectives have been carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the facts of the incident, and the identity and movements of the suspect. Most read in The Sun Detective Chief Inspector Marc Horsewood, who is leading this investigation said: “We have been working around the clock to identify the person responsible. “Multiple lines of inquiry are well underway, and we are now asking for the public’s help. “If you were in the area at the time, no matter how insignificant you think the information may be, please get in touch. “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured images, dashcam footage, doorbell camera footage, or any other recordings that could assist our inquiries. “We understand this incident will cause great concern within the community. “Please be reassured that this investigation is being treated with the utmost seriousness and significant resources are being dedicated to identify, locate and arrest the suspect. “Members of the public will see an increased police presence while the investigation continues.”
