Teen boy caught hooning at Bunnings car park with pistol in his pants

A 17-year-old boy allegedly caught doing burnouts in a ute with a pistol down his pants has been charged with a string of weapons and traffic offences.NSW Police said officers patrolling Villawood in Western Sydney witnessed the car doing burnouts in a Bunnings car park on Friday night.Police arrested the teenage driver at the scene and checks revealed he was disqualified from driving 12 months ago and the number plates were not registered to that car.Police allegedly found one Glock pistol down the front of his pants.Police said weapons, cannabis and number plates were seized from the car. (ABC News)Another Glock firearm was found in the car as were two knives, a balaclava, cannabis and another set of number plates.He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with 10 offences, including weapons, drug and six driving offences.A witness named Anwar said it was not uncommon for such events to take place in the area but this was "too much"."There's a lot of families and people just want to hang out, there's too much drama," he said.The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was scheduled to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on Saturday.
