A huge problem has struck Magic:The Gathering's Chaos Vault, as the highly controversial Zeta Set launch has been halted after just eight minutes due to unforeseen "technical issues." This occurred shortly after the main queue was opened up to the public so that they could finish paying for their pre-orders, but Wizards of the Coast has paused sales while it attempts to fix the issues. Anyone who was in the queue at the time of the pause, and who hasn't already left, will have their place held for when the sale restarts, although this isn't guaranteed right now, as players are left to wait for further updates. Sales were paused at approximately 9:40 am PT, with it not known how much stock has been sold or is left. Anyone who was in the queue when the sale went live is guaranteed their spot in the queue when the sale goes live again, which Wizards of the Coast isn't promising will be any time soon, as a follow-up post around 40 minutes after the pause notice states that the queue is still down. I've attempted to get into many a Secret Lair drop over the past few years and never encountered an issue like this. Players are encouraged to wait in the queue for as long as the fix takes though, otherwise they are at risk of losing their spot and having to re-queue when the sale goes live again.
