Explore See latest videos, charts and news That distinction belongs to Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which bows atop the June tally following the premiere of its parent film, Toy Story 5, on June 19. Rankings for the Top Movie Songs chart are based on song and film data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by Luminate during the corresponding period of June 2026. The ranking generally includes newly released films from the preceding three months, with exceptions given to movies whose music is still experiencing a high volume of public interest. “I Knew It, I Knew You” preceded the premiere of Toy Story 5 by two weeks, with Swift releasing the soundtrack tune on June 5. The song, which is the first to play during the animated movie’s credits, immediately topped the weekly Billboard Hot 100 and has reigned for two weeks so far (June 20 and 27). In June, “I Knew It, I Knew You” earned 73 million official on-demand streams and sold 89,000 in the United States, according to Luminate. Music from Michael occupies Top Movie Songs’ ensuing six positions (Nos. 2-7) and seven of the ranking’s 10. It’s the third month the chart has featured music from the biopic, which premiered April 24, with Jackson’s “Billie Jean” leading the May 2026 list. “Billie Jean” still leads the group for June, albeit falling to No. 2 (71.1 million streams, 7,000 downloads), and the song remained on the Hot 100 for three weeks in June at a best of No. 18, following a 2026 best of No. 15 on the May 23 ranking. The Chemical Brothers’ “Go” from Apex (No. 8; 10.6 million streams, 7,000 downloads) and Sienna Spiro’s “Material Lover” from The Devil Wears Prada 2 (No. 10; 13.8 million streams, 3,000 downloads) represent the other two movies featured on the June 2026 tally.
