The 1.5-acre mini-compound, built for the Pillsbury family in 1941, features unique amenities like a motor court with space for eight cars, over a dozen mature live oak trees and a pickleball court. The stylish remodel even caught the attention of Architectural Digest, which highlighted the home in 2021. The Pillsbury Estate may feel secluded by the dozens of mature oak trees surrounding the property, but it’s still just a five-minute drive from Beverly Hills hotspots like the Polo Lounge. It feels like you’re in the English countryside — but you can hop in the car and head straight to the Polo Lounge,” Nicolas Bijan tells Page Six Hollywood. Swifties will instantly recognize the home from the singer’s infamous “73 Questions” video interview for Vogue. Owners Nicolas and Roxy Bijan completed an extensive renovation of the property. I couldn’t help but be inspired by what had happened in that room,” Bijan says, adding that he started his own fashion brand, NB44, in the same space. “You can tell beautiful things have happened here. I hope the next person that lives there will feel creatively inspired.” The home has certainly been a source of inspiration for the Bijans, who wed on the property in 2020 after their Lake Como nuptials were cancelled due to COVID. They’ve since started their own family, welcoming two children in the years since. While the Bijans have put their own spin on the home, at least one relic of Swift’s time remains — the olive tree planted by her former paramour, DJ Calvin Harris, still stands among the garden’s flora, now surrounded by Roxy’s own hot-pink roses.
